As a Data Engineer, you will be part of the agile data infrastructure team within Data & Analytics, responsible for the data platform and the company-wide provision of data. If you have always been fascinated by data and its potential impact on business decisions, then you are exactly the right fit for us. What you can expect:

Responsibility for the (further) development of the data platform (Snowflake, Confluent (Kafka), Databricks), architecture of the data platform and the DWH as well as responsibility for data flows between components
Participation in the development of a Data Mesh architecture
Continuous work on the automation and optimization of technical processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability in ELT/ETL pipelines and data platform administration
Responsibility for building data protection-compliant end-to-end processes, from connecting data sources to creating process monitoring
Implementation of best practices in data and software engineering as well as support for auxmoney’s data teams
Optimization of process stability and data quality

Your profile

A completed degree in computer science, natural sciences, mathematics, data science or a comparable qualification
Solid professional experience in the field of data engineering. Experience with cloud, data/ML platforms, and messaging/streaming technologies is required. Practical knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, and/or Confluent (Kafka) is an advantage
Extensive experience with software development in Python
Familiarity with (Gitlab) CI/CD, DevOps culture and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Containers are not primarily associated with shipping for you
Ideally, deep knowledge and practical experience with the AWS cloud
Good German and English skills

Als Data Engineer bist Du innerhalb von Data & Analytics Teil des agilen Dateninfrastrukturteams und für die Datenplattform sowie die unternehmensweite Versorgung von Daten verantwortlich. Das erwartet Dich:

Verantwortung für (Weiter-)Entwicklung der Datenplattform (Snowflake, Confluent (Kafka), Databricks), Architektur der Datenplattform und des DWHs sowie Verantwortung für Datenflüsse zwischen den Komponenten
Mitarbeit am Aufbau einer Data Mesh Architektur
Kontinuierliche Arbeit an Automatisierung und Optimierung technischer Prozesse sowie Gewährleistung von Effizienz und Skalierbarkeit bei ELT/ETL-Pipelines und Datenplattform-Administration
Verantwortung für Bau datenschutzkonformer End-to-End-Prozesse von Anbindung der Datenquellen bis zur Erstellung von Prozess-Monitoring
Implementierung von Best Practices im Data- und Software-Engineering und Unterstützung der Data-Teams von auxmoney
Optimierung der Stabilität von Prozessen und der Datenqualität

Das bringst Du mit:

Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Naturwissenschaften, Mathematik, Data Science oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
Fundierte Berufserfahrung im Bereich Data Engineering. Cloud, Data/ML Plattformen sowie Messaging/Streaming Technologien sind vorausgesetzt. Insbesondere praktische Kenntnisse mit Snowflake, Databricks und/oder Confluent (Kafka) sind von Vorteil.
Umfangreiche Erfahrung mit Software-Entwicklung in Python.
(Gitlab) CI/CD, DevOps Kultur sowie Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) sind keine Fremdwörter und mit Containern wird nicht primär die Schifffahrt verbunden.
Idealerweise vertiefte Kenntnisse und praktische Erfahrung mit der AWS-Cloud.
Gute Deutsch und Englisch Kenntnisse.
