What you can expect:

Shape the Future of FinTech: Work in an agile, cross-functional team to develop scalable and high-performance digital lending solutions.
Build & Optimize: Develop complex business systems in PHP 8 with Symfony, ensuring clean, efficient and maintainable code.
Own the Process: Take responsibility for automated testing with PHPUnit or Cypress, ensuring high software quality.
Innovate with Modern Architecture: Contribute to a service-oriented architecture, designing distributed domain services based on Kafka event-driven communication.
End-to-End Development: Deploy your solutions effortlessly with CI/CD pipelines in Kubernetes, supported by our dedicated DevOps team.
Maximum Flexibility: Join us for monthly in-person team days in our modern offices in Düsseldorf or Berlin, while enjoying the freedom to work remotely the rest of the time.

Your profile

Passionate Developer: You love to code, bring fresh ideas and thrive in a collaborative, agile environment.
Full Stack Expertise: Several years of hands-on experience in both backend technologies (OOP such as PHP, Java, C#; PHP 8, Symfony, and MySQL being a plus) and frontend technologies (JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React)
Design & CSS Proficiency: Strong understanding of design principles and experience with CSS to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
Cloud & Containerization Know-How: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and scalability.
Event-Driven Architecture: Familiarity with Kafka-based communication and service-oriented architectures.
Testing Enthusiast: Experience with PHPUnit, vitest or Cypress to ensure high software quality.
Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Knowledge of NewRelic or similar monitoring tools to keep services running smoothly.
Version Control Savvy: Proficient in Git, ensuring efficient collaboration and clean versioning practices.
Problem-Solver & Innovator: You enjoy tackling complex challenges and optimizing processes with scalable, efficient solutions.
Agile Mindset: Experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams, embracing iterative development and feedback-driven improvement.
Strong Communicator: Fluent in English (German is a plus) and able to explain technical concepts clearly.
